Firewood - Smoking Wood
Our firewood is a mix of hardwoods so you can enjoy the best fire possible. We offer wood for indoor fire places, outdoor fire place, fire pits, & camping. We also offer smoking wood for those who love to smoke meat! We have Apple, Cherry, Hickory, Pear, Pecan & Oak

Slabbed Wood - Saw Milling
We have many of Nebraska native hardwoods on hand & a variety of boards & slabs already cut & planed, We also cut beams, posts & mantle pieces. Among the many species we deal with are Ash, Cedar, Cottonwood, Elm, Hack Berry, Locust, Maple, Mulberry, Oak, Pine, Walnut as well as others. We saw mill unique woods of all different shapes and sizes. We can leave the natural live edges on the slabs or straight line them. The thickness of the slabs is based on what our clients want. From construction stakes, to garden beds, construction, custom beams, & posts.
Flattening Saw Mill
Flattening Saw Mill
Our MB200 SlabMizer Flattening Mill flattens your wood slabs, boards, burls as well as cookies. The importance of the flattener is to take out the curves or warps out of the slabs. We can flatten up to 72" x 13' x 9" thick.
This works well with not only slabs but also flattening married slabs, & EPOXY furniture. We also have a sanding attachment to sand the slabs after flattened!
Land Clearing
At Knotheads Wood Services we love the story behind everything we do & this one has a wonderful story that goes back many years! It was a pleasure to log at Boys Town in Omaha. Boys Town was & is a very special place for a lot of people near & far. It's our goal for the story to live on in the things we make with the wood! It's a joy to share the story with all who come to inquire in the wood & we love to hear the stories from others as well about Boys Town!

We are so passionate about our wood work that we can't just mill the logs! We make benches, sofa tables, tables, mantels, shelves, bar tops, counter tops, batheroom vanity tops, anything you would want out of wood. We want to share your vision & provide you with a product to enjoy for generations to come! If you have a tree on you property, one that for some reason needs to be taken down but has a special place in your family's heart, then call us. We call this the be back wood treasure, we will use the logs to provide you with a fine piece of furniture, or any other wood fixture you might desire from the tree. From a shade tree on your property to a family heirloom, that will always stay in the family!
